National Day Walk in the workplace
Some workers Bloomington advantage of good weather today to do some exercises. Today, the “National Walk At Work day for employees in the Country Insurance and Financial Services and Illinois Farm Bureau.
More than 100 workers have left the offices in Bloomington healthy for a walk around the campus this morning.
Melissa Libert involved and said: “For me, this is the extra motivation. I think that what makes you accountable and you know, have used with a certain camaraderie I think this is an excellent way to make a small extra. ”
“Walking is always a great way to start the day and I can not, unfortunately, unable to get out of bed early enough to make it to 10 hours was good for me,” said Libert.
Kathy victory, said: “I think the movement by regular and better nutrition is the only gonna help me at work. I help load during the stay of the day. So I can go back to my office and stay awake.
More than 100 employees have their offices for a 20-minute walk around outside the building, in compliance with national Walk at Work Day.
Some of them hope to make part of their day’s work as planned.
National Walk at Work Day is part of a new initiative bearing the name of the good life, work well.
There are benefits for employers.
Deanna Frautschi, said: “The great advantage that we hope for us, workers more productive, less absenteeism and health is less that human rights are more active because they do things, improving their cardio-vascular system, improving their Blood pressure. ”
And given that the activities of welfare increase, staff hope they feel better and both on and off work.
